A magnificent Art Deco ring boasting a gorgeous emerald cut aquamarine, weighing approx. 6.6ct. It has a tranquil clear, blue hue that contrasts beautifully with a shining 18ct yellow gold gallery with ornate motifs engraved down each shoulder and into the band.

Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.

The ring was made in France (Circa 1920) and features a gold eagle mark on the outside of the band for 18ct. It’s very striking with a pronounced claw mount that crowns the aqua high and proud atop the finger for all to see.

We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
