A glorious Art Deco inspired ring bezel set with a gorgeous asscher cut aquamarine weighing approx. 3.5 carats. The facets flicker and dance like the surface of a clear blue ocean as they catch the light and are complemented by pronounced shoulder accents, dotted with fourteen twinkling brilliant cut diamonds (approx. 0.42ct total).
Aquamarine derives its name from its calming, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
The geometric gallery is typical of the Deco style and is modelled in platinum with milgrain edging. It would make a magnificent engagement ring and truly captures the beauty and glamour of 1920s design.
