Vintage Style Snake Bangle Ruby Eyes 9ct Gold
This fabulous Egyptian-inspired snake bangle is built around a strong steel spring that has been wrapped in an expandable 9ct yellow gold case. The serpent’s head and tail have also been delicately engraved and set with pink ruby eyes, with Birmingham hallmarks on the back, dating the piece to 1994.
Egyptian-inspired snake jewellery enjoyed a revival in the 20th-century after discoveries such as Tutankhamun’s tomb ignited fascination across Europe. Coiled snakes were worn as symbols of royalty and protection in ancient Egypt but in modern times, their coiled shape is also associated with eternal love.
This ingeniously crafted gold snake bangle is a classic design, with its expanding spring, and smooth gold shell allowing the piece to hug comfortably around the wrist. It’s bold and eye-catching, a perfect statement piece to enhance your signature style.
