Vintage Sapphire Diamond Bangle 9ct Gold 3ct Of Sapphire Dated 1989

A beautiful vintage sapphire and diamond bangle modelled in 9ct gold with ornate, foliate engraving around the entire band. Seven oval cut sapphires graduate across the front gallery (approx. 3ct total) and have a pleasing cornflower blue hue, complemented by fourteen bright diamonds in between (approx. 0.56ct total).  

Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine. 

The piece is in excellent condition and complete with London hallmarks within the band, dating the piece to 1989. It’s fitted with a box clasp at the side with a safety catch and chain for added security when worn.
