Vintage Ruby Diamond Ring 0.65ct Ruby Dated 1978

A gorgeous Victorian style carved half-hoop ring set with a bright natural pink ruby in the centre (approx. 0.65ct) flanked by sparkling old mine cut diamonds on either side (approx. 0.25ct each) and four smaller diamonds nestled in between. (approx. 0.60ct total).

Ruby is the birthstone of July. They’ve been a favourite of kings and emperors throughout history and are considered a stone of the heart. Its fiery pink/ red hue is symbolic of passion and said to bring good fortune in love and provide long lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.

The gallery is modelled in solid 18ct gold with scrolled artistry engraved down the sides and shoulders. It displays London hallmarks within the band, dating to 1978 and a French gold control mark on the outside, indicating it spent some of its life in France.

It’s a stunning Victorian inspired piece, exhibiting a fabulous collection of precious gems that complement each other beautifully.
