Vintage French Double Pearl Necklace 2ct Diamond Clasp
A majestic French pearl matinee necklace from the late 20th Century displaying two strands of luxurious, creamy-white cultured pearls which are exceptionally bright with a smooth glossy surface.
Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean, produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. Their spherical shape and exceptional lustre have long been associated with the beauty of the moon and are symbolic of purity, serenity, and loyalty.
The strands are held securely by a large 18ct white gold box clasp decorated with glistening brilliant cut diamond petals surrounding a tiered cluster in the centre (approx. 2ct total). It’s complete with a safety catch on the side and hallmarks on the back indicating it was imported and hallmarked in London in 1966.
It would be perfect for a wedding or glamorous occasion, boasting an exceptional collection of pearls that are fit for royalty.
We recommend you insure for £3,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
