A magnificent Vintage cocktail ring crowned with a gorgeous deep violet oval cut Amethyst which is over 12ct and haloed by twinkling brilliant cut Diamonds (approx. 0.50ct total). 

Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep purple colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.

The ring has been modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold and is complete with faded Birmingham hallmarks which date the ring to 1989.
