Art Deco Style Aquamarine Sapphire Diamond Cocktail Ring 7.29ct Aqua

A magnificent Art Deco inspired cocktail ring built around a marvellous emerald cut aquamarine weighed at 7.29 carats. It has a clear glacier-blue hue and is bezel set in a frame of calibre set square cut sapphires (approx. 2.1ct) with diamonds on either side that also chase down each shoulder (approx. 0.26ct). 

Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth. 

The piece is a classic Deco design with bold, geometric shapes and milgrain edging and is fashioned entirely in platinum with a fabulous under gallery pierced with a scrolling pattern.
