A spectacular Art Deco cocktail ring boasting an enormous emerald cut aquamarine weighing approx. 25 carats. The stone exhibits a calming blue hue with green flashes and is superbly cut with linear facets that flicker beautifully in the light.

Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.

The aqua is mounted in a robust 18ct gold claw mount with open sides. It joins a thick band at the back made up of three connected strands and bears a French 18ct Eagle mark and maker’s mark at the back.

An extraordinary statement piece, that was made to be seen. It’s all in excellent condition and boasts a truly breath-taking aquamarine on top.

We recommend you insure for £3,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
