Antique Victorian Opal Diamond Cluster Ring 5ct Opal

An enchanting antique Victorian cluster ring adorned with a mesmerising natural opal cabochon displaying a kaleidoscope of colours that intensify with the light. It weighs approx. 5 carats and is complemented by a sparkling halo of fourteen brilliant cut diamonds, totalling approx. 1.26ct.  

Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.  

The stones are set in a silver, pierced gallery that joins an 18ct yellow gold back and band. It’s a striking piece, dating to the late 19^th Century with a dazzling collection of natural gems on top.
