Antique Victorian Natural Opal Diamond Five Stone Ring
Dating to the late 19th Century, this magnificent antique Victorian opal diamond five-stone ring is adorned with a mesmerising row of five natural cabochon opals the graduate over the top of the finger. They display an ever-changing kaleidoscope of green, blue, purple, and orange embers that burn beneath the surface, complemented by eight twinkling old mine cut diamonds nestled in-between.
Opal is the birthstone of October and is considered a stone of luck, creativity, and passion. Its enchanting spectrum of fiery colours contrasts beautifully with the brightness of diamonds, creating a captivating display reminiscent of the Aurora Borealis dancing across a starry sky.
This Victorian opal diamond ring features a grand carved half-hoop gallery, all fashioned in a sunny 18ct yellow gold with ornate, scrolling decoration down the sides and shoulders. It’s a fine example of Victorian craftsmanship and the magical opals arch gracefully over the finger, resembling a vibrant rainbow that captivates all who look upon it.
