Antique Victorian Heart Padlock Bangle 9ct Gold

A beautiful antique Victorian bangle fashioned in 9ct gold during the late 19^th Century. The band wraps around to form two large hooks at the front with six pearls and scrolling motifs on either side.

It’s held securely around the wrist by a heart padlock clasp which were often gifted as a romantic token in the Victorian era, symbolising love and commitment. 

It’s a wonderful design and has developed a lovely smooth touch and rosy patina with age.
