Antique Victorian Heart Dropper Necklace Aquamarine Garnet Pearl 15ct Gold
A magnificent antique Victorian dropper necklace from the late 19th Century adorned with fifteen droppers set with alternating blue oval cut aquamarines and violet almandine garnet hearts, with a line of white pearls and further aquas running along the top.
Almandine garnets are beloved for their blazing red/ violet flame that glows beneath their dark surface, making them a stone of passion and enduring love. Aquamarine is desired for its tranquil, clear blue colouring and is said to bring happiness and good fortune.
The droppers are suspended from a fine cable chain fitted with a tube clasp, all fashioned in 15ct yellow gold. It’s very pretty and displays a wonderful assortment of natural gems that contrast and complement each other beautifully.
We recommend you insure for £4,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
