Antique Victorian Etruscan Coral Diamond Enamel Bangle With Locket
An exquisite antique Etruscan revival bangle from the mid-Victorian era (Circa 1860). The piece is fashioned in 15ct gold with ornate Etruscan inspired rope work and gold beading across the front and three sky-blue enamel domes topped with peach coral stones and twinkling diamonds in star settings.
Etruscan revival pieces were crafted in the late 1800s after ancient Etruscan jewellery was unearthed in tombs outside of Rome, beginning a fascination with the style and giving birth to these beautiful pieces which were crafted in the same grand and elaborate fashion.
The back consists of three connected bands with a secure box clasp and safety chain at the side. It’s remained in pristine condition and is a fabulous Etruscan design with a concealed locket at the back, complete with its original rim and window ready to house a cherished photograph, lock of hair or other memento.
We recommend you insure for £4,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
