ANTIQUE VICTORIAN DIAMOND GREYHOUND LOCKET PENDANT SILVER CIRCA 1870
A delightful Antique Victorian pendant featuring a life like enamel Painting of a black Greyhound in the centre haloed by sparkling Old Mine cut Diamonds which are approx. 0.10ct each and total to 1.65ct.
The greyhound has been hand painted by a skilled artist and sits upon a coloured back drop. The dog has lots of character in its face and was perhaps a beloved pet to the pendants original owner.
The gallery is fashioned in Silver with Gold rims and at the back a locket can be found containing a curled lock of brown hair which belonged to a loved one from long ago and kept safe and well preserved behind a glass window.
This pendant was obviously very dear to its original owner and has been kept in excellent condition throughout the years. It’s very special and a true antique treasure.
We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
