Dating to the late 19^th Century, this magnificent antique Victorian butterfly brooch is set in silver and backed in 18ct yellow gold. The intricate, open-work wings are set aglow with approx. 0.60ct of twinkling rose cut diamonds and 2.2ct of luminous natural opals, flashing with electric blues and greens, while the body is anchored by a vibrant 0.35ct pink ruby thorax and eyes.
