Antique Victorian 15ct Citrine Scottish Agate Brooch Silver Circa 1860


This stunning Antique Victorian Scottish brooch has been commissioned in Silver and set with an array of beautiful plaid Agate sections. In the centre of the brooch features a fantastic 15ct Citrine and the surrounding silver work is engraved with wonderful flowing designs.

Scottish jewellery grew in popularity in the mid-1800s as Queen Victoria’s frequent trips to her Scottish Castle Balmoral saw her return with Scottish souvenirs and jewellery which influenced the trend in Britain.

A magnificent piece of history with gorgeous colours that will look wonderful when worn. It comes complete with safety chain to hold it securely in place.
