Antique Georgian Garnet Flower Drop Earrings 18ct Gold
A fabulous pair of antique Georgian garnet flower drop earrings, each set with sixteen flat-cut garnet petals with a luxurious, cherry-pink hue. They’re collet-set in 18ct gold closed-back settings and hang from gold hooks at the top.
Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s considered a stone of the heart and is symbolic of passion and enduring love.
A striking pair of Georgian earrings that articulate and swing beautifully from each ear. They date to the early 19th Century and have both remained in excellent condition.
