A remarkable antique Georgian pendant depicting a heart fashioned in 18ct gold with fourteen irregularly shaped flat rose cut diamonds set around the gallery, totalling approx. 3ct with the largest suspended on a dropper in the centre (approx. 0.70ct).

The rose cut has been around since the 16th Century and is recognised for its neat triangular facets that are cut to resemble the petals of a rosebud. They were at the height of popularity in the Georgian era and were beloved for their enchanting sparkle that was said to dance by candlelight.

It’s a rare antique find, beautifully preserved since the late 18th Century with a dazzling collection of diamonds that are full of character.

We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
