ANTIQUE GEORGIAN DAY AND NIGHT CHALCEDONY DROP EARRINGS 18CT GOLD CIRCA 1800
A remarkable pair of Antique Georgian Night and Day earrings dating from the early 19th Century. The earrings boast two large Chalcedony droppers with a ghostly white hue and subtle blue glow. Both are decorated in beautiful 18ct Gold Cannetille workmanship with delicate flower shaped droppers and Forget me nots growing and twisting around each stone.
A second Chalcedony tops each earring and is encircled by a golden, flower shaped frame with detailed Cannetille metalwork and lever back hooks. The tops are perfect worn on their own as daytime earrings and can be adorned with the droppers later for a more glamorous evening event.
They truly capture the beauty and grandeur of Georgian design and look spectacular dangling from each ear.
