It has a regal deep blue hue that’s complemented beautifully by fourteen bright Old European cut diamonds around the border, with three more chasing down each shoulder. They have superb SI1 clarity – H colour and total approx. 1ct as well.

Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.

The piece is fashioned in 18ct gold and features a scalloped border, milgrain shoulders and a pierced under gallery. It dates to the early 1900s and is all in excellent condition with a gorgeous collection of natural gems glistening on top.
