Antique Edwardian Opal Diamond Heart Ring 2.5ct Opal
A gorgeous antique Edwardian heart ring from the early 1900s built around a natural opal heart cabochon, bordered by eighteen twinkling diamonds. The heart has a mesmerising display of colour with radiant green, blue and orange flashes that intensify with the light. It weighs approx. 2.5ct with approx. 0.72ct of diamond surrounding.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The ring is fashioned in 18ct gold with a pierced under gallery, split shoulders and milgrain chasing around the border. It’s a spectacular piece that would make a perfect gift for a loved one.
