A magnificent antique opal diamond statement ring from the early-20th Century showcasing an impressive natural opal in the centre exhibiting radiant green, blue and pink flecks that fade and intensify with the light. 

The opal weighs approx. 20 carats and is claw-set in a frame of twenty sparkling brilliant-cut diamonds. They have excellent SI1 clarity – H colour and total approx. 1.6ct. 

Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.   

The ring is modelled in 18ct white/ yellow gold and features ornate settings and split shoulders. It’s an outstanding statement piece, boasting a truly breath-taking natural opal at its heart.
