Antique Edwardian French Ruby Diamond Cluster Ring 9.52ct Burmese Ruby With Cert
A majestic antique French daisy cluster ring from the early 1900s claw set with a giant cushion cut Burmese ruby weighing an impressive 9.52 carats. It exhibits a vibrant, hot-pink colouring with some minor routine clarity enhancement and is believed to have originated from Myanmar. This is detailed in a comprehensive CGL gem certification that accompanies the piece.
As if the ruby wasn’t enough, it’s also encircled by thirty-two twinkling old mine cut diamond petals with superb SI 1 clarity – H colour, totalling approx. 1.3ct. They’re all set in a large platinum gallery with a pierced under gallery beneath and includes a French platinum dog mark on the outside of the band.
Ruby is the birthstone of July and has long been associated with the heart due to its fiery pink/ red colouring which is symbolic of passion. It’s said to bring good fortune in love and provide long-lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.
It’s truly one of a kind, a spectacular statement piece boasting a truly breath-taking ruby that is rarely seen at this size.
