Antique Edwardian Diamond Verneuil Ruby Brooch 18ct Gold Circa 1910 Boxed
This outstanding antique Edwardian bow brooch is claw set with a rich, pink Verneuil Ruby at its heart weighing approx. 2.50ct. Although produced by the Verneuil process, these stones are chemically and physically equivalent to their naturally occurring counterparts.
The centre stone is haloed by sparkling, old mine cut diamonds which run down the length of the ribbons (approx. 2.65ct total). They complement the ruby beautifully and have excellent VS2 clarity - H colour.
It's modelled entirely in 18ct Yellow Gold and fitted with a sturdy pin and catch at the back. It's a wonderful antique find and complete with a "Rivoli" box to store it in.
