Antique Edwardian Diamond Pendant Necklace Platinum 2.5ct Of Diamond

A majestic antique Edwardian pendant decorated with a dazzling array of diamonds that total approx. 2.5ct. The largest diamonds are a trilogy of old European cuts that run down the centre of the piece and weigh approx. 0.5ct top and bottom, and 0.7ct at its heart. They’re extremely bright and full of life and sparkle with excellent clarity and colour (SI 1 – H).

Diamonds are truly a stone of perfection. They’re the hardest known material on the planet and have been desired throughout history for their exceptional lustre and brilliant fire that is symbolic of everlasting love and strong commitment.

The pendant has an elegant, Art Nouveau design with flowing curves and leaf motifs crafted in platinum and lined with milgrain around the edges. It’s suspended from a fine platinum chain complete with two ring clasps that unusually clip onto the top of the pendant.

It’s a stunning piece and truly encapsulates the beauty and glamour of the period which was aptly named “The Beautiful era”.
