ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN CABOCHON STAR RUBY DIAMOND RING 18CT GOLD CIRCA 1901
This magnificent Antique Ruby and Diamond cluster ring is Edwardian, Circa 1901. The ring is set with a Natural pink cabochon cut star Ruby weighing approx. 1.80ct and haloed by Brilliant cut Diamonds which are beautiful VS1 clarity - G Colour stones with exceptional sparkle.
Star Rubies are a unique form of Ruby named after the mystifying star-shaped shimmer that floats across the stones surface in direct light. The star is said to represent faith, hope, destiny and offer protection and guidance to travellers.
The stones are set in a Platinum face with a Yellow Gold band stamped -18ct- on the inside. The ring is truly spellbinding, very rare and very beautiful.
