An elegant antique Edwardian lavaliere necklace from the early 1900s adorned with a slender, pendulum dropper decorated with four bright old European cut diamonds (approx. 0.30ct total) leading to a magnificent blue pear cut aquamarine hanging from the bottom (approx. 5ct).

Aquamarine derives its name from its calming, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.

The pendant is fashioned in platinum, edged with milgrain and suspended from a platinum paper clip link chain. It would be perfect for a glamorous occasion and is complete with a lovely box with cream velvet interior and red leatherette exterior to store it in.

We recommend you insure for £4,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
