Antique Edwardian Aquamarine Diamond Cluster Ring 4ct Aqua
A magnificent antique Edwardian cluster ring built around a beautiful clear blue emerald cut aquamarine at its heart. It weighs approx. 4ct and is claw set in the centre of a frame of sixteen bright, sparkling brilliant cut diamonds, totalling approx. 1.3ct.
Aquamarine derives its name from its calming, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
The stones are set in a silver face with an 18ct yellow gold back and band, creating a tiered gallery that crowns the aqua high and proud atop the finger.
