Antique Art Deco Aquamarine Diamond Pendant Platinum 20ct Aqua
A glamorous 1920s Art Deco pendant built around a magnificent emerald cut aquamarine weighing an impressive 20 carats (approx.) It has a calming blue hue with flickering facets that mimic light reflecting off the surface of a clear pool.
Aquamarine derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
The aqua is framed in an ornate, geometric frame which is classically Deco in design. It’s crafted in platinum with milgarin edging and twinkling diamonds decorating the border.
It will look stunning hung from a silver chain and swings beautifully from a long bale.
We recommend you insure for £5,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
