An extravagant Antique Victorian pendant crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold and decorated with an array of gorgeous Almandine Garnets which are a lovely deep red with flashes of violet.

The centre stone is approx. 4.5ct alone with smaller 1ct stones dotted around, making a grand total of around 16.5ct.

A tangle of golden Ivy leaves branch out from the centre and represent an unbreakable bond, such as friendship or marriage, as in the Victorian rhyme 'Close clings the ivy to the tree, so in my heart I cling to thee.'

The metalwork is truly stunning, with detailed engraved floral patterning running along the outer border. The piece is steeped in history and even shows a previous owner’s name still engraved along the back belonging to ‘Mrs George Baird’.
