A marvellous antique Victorian floral suite from the mid 19th Century consisting of a fabulous lavaliere necklace and matching earrings both decorated with twinkling rose cut diamonds (approx. 2ct total), natural pearls and three deep cherry-pink almandine garnets weighing 2.5ct on each earring and 5ct suspended from the necklace dropper.

Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s considered a stone of the heart and is symbolic of passion and enduring love.

The suite is fashioned in silver and 18ct gold and displays exquisite workmanship and three large flowers topped with pearls. The articulated necklace gallery features a fringe of diamond droppers and joins a fine gold cable chain complete with a tube clasp and four additional pearls along the length.

It’s rare to find a complete antique Victorian suite like this and in such excellent condition. Both pieces look stunning worn together and are even accompanied by their original fitted box to store them in, with a burgundy leatherette exterior and turquoise velvet interior.

We recommend you insure for £5,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
