An impressive antique Edwardian carved half hoop ring made in Birmingham in 1904. It’s adorned with a trilogy of natural opal cabochons displaying a striking medley of colours. They total approx. 2.9ct and are complemented by six twinkling diamonds nestled in between, totalling approx. 0.20ct.

Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis.

The broad gallery is crafted in solid 18ct gold with scrolled artistry engraved down the sides and features Birmingham hallmarks within the band along with a faded inscription that appears to be a date in June that was significant to a previous owner.

It’s a striking antique find, all in excellent condition with a mesmerising collection of natural opals on top.

We recommend you insure for £3,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
