Antique Victorian Ruby Diamond Ring 1.55ct Diamond
This stunning antique Victorian ruby diamond five-stone ring is modelled in solid 18ct yellow gold and set with an alternating pattern of two cushion cut rubies and three dazzling old European cut diamonds. Each chunky diamond is exceptionally bright, graded VS 1 clarity – H/I colour and weigh approx. 0.45 – 0.65ct in the centre (approx. 1.55ct total). They contrast beautifully with the vivid cherry-pink rubies, each weighing approx. 0.35ct.
Rubies are considered a stone of the heart due to their fiery pink/ red hue and contrast beautifully against the bright, scintillating sparkle of diamonds. Combined, the two rare, precious gems make the ultimate symbol of romance, representing passion, devotion, and everlasting love.
This magnificent Victorian ruby diamond ring dates to the late 19th Century and has remained in pristine condition. A marvellous statement piece, or 40th ruby wedding anniversary gift, showcasing a luxurious collection of quality rubies and diamonds that look stunning displaying their brilliance over the top of the finger.
