Dating to the late 19th Century, this fabulous antique Victorian opal diamond ring is set with a trio of natural opal cabochons (approx. 2.8ct total), with four twinkling old mine cut diamonds nestled in between (approx. 0.12ct total). Each opal globe emits a vibrant medley of green, blue and purple hues that shimmer across the curvature, with a burning orange halo glowing around the edge, like the setting sun.

Opal is the birthstone of October and is considered a stone of luck, creativity, and passion. A jewel of liquid fire, its enchanting spectrum of colours pair beautifully with the brightness of diamonds, creating a captivating display reminiscent of the Aurora Borealis dancing across a starry sky.

This glorious Victorian opal diamond ring is crafted in a sunny 18ct yellow gold and is further decorated with intricate, scrolling motifs down the sides and shoulders. It’s in excellent condition, with the bulging natural opals beautifully showcasing their brilliance across the top of the finger.

We recommend you insure for £3,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
