A blaze of warmth and light, this remarkable vintage fire opal cluster ring boasts a radiant oval cut fire opal at its heart (approx. 9.38 carats), displaying a golden-orange hue and skilfully cut facets that dance and flicker like a flame captured in gemstone form. A halo of twelve sparkling single cut diamonds also chases around the frame (approx. 0.45ct total), complementing but not overshadowing the rings fiery centrepiece.

Fire opals are born from ancient volcanic rock, their beauty forged deep within the earth. Unlike other opal, they’re semi-transparent and captivate with a vivid blaze of orange and red that inspired their name. Most originate in Mexico and were revered by the Aztecs, who believed their fiery brilliance was so divine it could only have been created in paradise.

Expertly crafted in 18ct white/ yellow gold, this striking 1930s fire opal diamond cluster ring is a stunning statement piece, perfect for marking a love as bright and enduring as the rare, blazing gemstones it holds.

We recommend you insure for £9,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
