A stunning emerald and diamond trilogy ring made in London in 1982. A beautiful green step cut emerald takes centre stage and is flanked by matching old brilliant cut diamonds which are all natural and detailed in the accompanying gem certification.

The emerald is believed to be of Colombian origin and weighs approx. 0.84ct with a bright, vivid green hue. The diamonds complement it beautifully and have excellent VS/ SI clarity – F/G colour and total approx. 0.64ct.

Emerald is the birthstone of May. The Romans considered it to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is associated with eternal love and faithfulness.

The piece is all 18ct with white gold crown settings for the diamonds and a yellow gold band at the back. It would make a stunning engagement ring with a trilogy of stones representing past, present and future or those three little words – “I love you”.
