Antique Edwardian Diamond Toi Et Moi Twist Ring 1.3ct Total
Married with two exceptional old cut diamonds, this elegant antique Edwardian diamond Toi et Moi ring is sure to be admired. Weighing approx. 0.65ct each, the chunky old mine cut diamonds have superb SI1 clarity – H/I colour and sparkle and dance effortlessly as they catch the light. They’re set in pronounced platinum claw settings and join a sleek 18ct yellow gold crossover band, with platinum shoulders that twist gracefully around the principal stones.
The duet of perfectly matched diamonds symbolise the coming together of two souls. The style was made popular in France in the 18th century and was named “Toi et Moi”, which is French for “You and me”.
Dating to the early 1900s, this striking Edwardian diamond ring has remained in excellent condition and would make a magnificent antique engagement ring, with two beautiful diamonds crowned on top, perfectly representing eternal love that can endure across the centuries.
