Antique Art Deco Aquamarine Diamond Ring 1.3ct Aqua

A stunning 1920s Art Deco ring built around a square scissor cut aquamarine in the centre weighing approx. 1.3ct. It has a flickering, clear blue sparkle and is complemented by a frame of twinkling diamonds, totalling approx. 0.36ct.

Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.

The piece is all 18ct with a yellow gold band and scalloped, white gold face edged with milgrain, creating a fabulous bed for the stones to rest on. It’s very striking and would make a glamorous engagement ring.

We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
