Masterfully crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold, this fabulous vintage diamond flower brooch was made in Europe in the mid-20th Century and depicts five delicate primroses, each crowned with a sparkling brilliant-cut diamond and vibrant orange and white guilloché enamel petals. Ingeniously designed, the flowers are secured in an elevated position above a finely detailed bed of green enamel leaves, creating a striking three-dimensional effect, as if the flowers are truly blooming from the setting.

The primrose, among the first flowers to bloom in spring, symbolises youth, new beginnings, and devotion. In the symbolism of flowers, it conveys innocent love and the heartfelt message, “I can’t live without you.” The vibrant orange enamel further enhances this meaning, representing warmth, energy, and vitality.

Beautifully preserved in pristine condition, with all enamel crisp and intact, this exceptional brooch is a rare find for collectors and would make a truly meaningful gift. Secured with a sturdy pin and safety lock catch, it will look wonderful adorning a lapel, hat, or scarf.

We recommend you insure for £4,800. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
