This fabulous Antique Edwardian Suffragette bangle was made Circa 1910. The piece is fashioned in 15ct Yellow Gold and adorned with Pearls and a cluster of cabochon cut Amethysts and Peridots in then centre. 

Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope.  

It is a wonderful piece and held securely around the wrist with the addition of a box clasp and safety chain. 

It weighs 8.8 grams

Will fit a 6 - 6.5 inch wrist.
