A gorgeous antique Victorian carved half hoop ring adorned with a vibrant green step cut emerald in the centre (approx. 0.95ct), flanked by twin old mine cut diamonds at each side (approx. 0.50ct each) and smaller diamonds twinkling in-between. They’re all exceptionally bright with superb SI 1 clarity – H colour.

The Romans considered the Emerald to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and it was said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is associated with eternal love and faithfulness making it the perfect choice for an engagement ring.

The gallery is crafted in 18ct gold with beautiful, scrolled engraving down the sides and shoulders, creating a fabulous bed for the stones top rest on. It would make a stunning engagement ring with a trilogy of stones representing past, present and future or those three little words – “I love you”.

We recommend you insure for £4,700. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
