ANTIQUE VICTORIAN DIAMOND PEARL INSECT BROOCH 18CT GOLD SILVER 2CT ROSE CUT DIAMONDS CIRCA 1900
This wonderful Antique late Victorian brooch was made at the turn of the 20th Century (Circa 1900) and features a winged insect perched upon a spray of leaves and flowers.
The front of the piece is decorated with an array of twinkling Rose cut Diamonds (approx. 2ct total) with cabochon cut Ruby eyes and four lustrous natural Pearls.
It is fashioned in Silver and backed in 18ct Yellow Gold along with the insects head. It is a beautifully detailed and lifelike design and with a pin and safety chain on the reverse to hold it securely in place.
The brooch is also complete with it’s original fitted box with purple velvet interior to store it in.
