Antique Victorian Cabochon Garnet Ring 15ct Gold Dated 1868

This exquisite antique Victorian ring is fully hallmarked and dated Birmingham 1868.

Adorned with a wonderful deep red cabochon cut Garnet which has been polished to perfection.

The ring features a hidden inscription inside which reads – ‘D.J.S – from his old office and friends of the standard comp – 1 OCT 1868’.  

The gallery is stamped -625- for 15ct Yellow Gold and boasts beautiful engraved shoulders.  

A grand antique ring that would suit either sex.
