Antique Victorian Scottish Shield and Sword Brooch Circa 1860

A unique and rarely found antique Scottish sword and shield brooch from the Victorian era, Circa 1860.
The piece is decorated in lovely earthy coloured Agates which are fashioned to fit the brooches unique shape and polished to perfection.
There is a small hairline fault in the bottom Agate but this isn’t really visible to the eye and is in otherwise excellent condition for its age.
The piece is set in Silver with beautiful engraved detailing across the front and fitted with a strong pin at the back.
This is a true collectors item and steeped in Victorian history!
