A stunning antique Edwardian trilogy ring crowned with a natural blue Ceylon sapphire flanked by two bright brilliant cut diamonds. It’s accompanied by two comprehensive gem reports which suggest the sapphire weighs between 1.45 - 1.53ct and is of Sri Lankan origin with an intense, regal blue hue that shows no signs of heat treatment. The diamonds are also detailed in the reports and weigh between 0.26 - 0.32ct each and have excellent clarity and colour.

The Sri Lankan sapphire, or “Ceylon” sapphire has been a favourite of kings and royalty throughout history and was regarded as a stone of truth, wisdom and strength. It’s valued for its striking royal blue colouring which tends to be brighter and more vibrant than most other sapphires.

The stones are all set in secure white gold crown mounts and join a sleek 18ct gold band at the back. It would make a stunning engagement ring with the trilogy of stones representing past, present and future or those three little words – “I love you”.

We recommend you insure for £5,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
