Antique Victorian Sapphire Diamond Bangle 15ct Gold
An elegant antique Victorian sapphire diamond bangle, crafted in 15ct yellow gold with a slender navette gallery at the front, set with a graduated row of nine cushion-cut blue sapphires (approximately 1.35ct total) displaying a deep royal-blue hue and glittering facets. Eighteen twinkling old cut diamonds are also interspersed in-between (approximately 0.09ct total), adding a delicate sparkle that beautifully enhances the deep blue gemstones.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September and is considered a stone of wisdom, loyalty, and protection. It has long been a favourite of royalty and its regal, deep-blue hue contrasts beautifully with the brilliance of diamonds, together embodying beauty, strength and eternal love.
Dating to the late 19th century, this sleek Victorian sapphire diamond bangle has remained in pristine condition thanks to its secure box clasp and safety chain at the side and has developed a pleasing patina and smoothness over time. Its stunning array of natural precious gems beautifully spread and shimmer across the top of the wrist, making it a captivating piece that is sure to be admired.
