A glamorous antique Edwardian pearl necklace made up of 132 creamy saltwater pearls that graduate in size toward the bottom. The pearls show no evidence of treatment and the largest have been tested as natural. This is all documented in a comprehensive G.C.S certification and card that accompanies the piece.

Pearls are the birthstone of June. A true treasure of the ocean, pearls are desired for their rich, creamy tone and exceptional lustre that is produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. They’ve become symbolic of purity, innocence and loyalty making them a favourite for most brides on their wedding day.

The pearls are held by a stunning diamond-shaped fishhook clasp, modelled in 18ct gold and platinum, and encrusted with glistening single and old cut diamonds on top that total approx. 1ct.

It would be perfect for a wedding or glamorous occasion and is complete with a lovely antique box with teal/ blue leatherette exterior and cream interior, with the maker's insignia under the lid, belonging to “A. Williamson – Goldsmith & Silversmith” of Rochdale.

We recommend you insure for £4,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
