ANTIQUE GEORGIAN CABLE CHAIN NECKLACE 18CT GOLD SILVER CIRCA 1800

This beautifully crafted antique Georgian cable chain necklace has been commissioned in Silver and gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold. It is fitted with a secure barrel clasp that holds the chain together firmly.

Half of the links are polished smooth and have taken on a lovely patina over the years, giving the gold a rich finish that perfectly illustrates the quality of the craftsmanship. The other links have been finely textured, creating a beautiful contrast with the rest of the piece.
