A long antique guard chain from the late Victorian era made up of fancy Gold links with longer decorative links inserted along the length leading to a large hinge clasp at the end.
The piece is all Silver cased in 18ct Yellow Gold which has turned a lovely Rosy hue with age. It can be worn as one long chain or wrapped 2 to 3 times around the neck. It is very grand and a fine example of its time.
